A sustainable future for Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers and their apparel partners are committed to a sustainable future and reducing their carbon footprint while still delivering great products and value.

In 2022, Wests Tigers official teamwear provider Steeden announced, ENVYRO, a core initiative for the future.

ENVYRO will see Steeden use sustainable production and packaging to ensure the environment is carefully considered as they produce hundreds of thousands of sporting equipment, apparel and teamwear items each year. They are proud to use recycled and sustainable materials, which are then packaged in an environmental way.

The ENVYRO logo is displayed on items in the Wests Tigers Official Teamwear range and Wests Tigers look forward to continuing to work with Steeden on this initiative.

In addition Wests Tigers have been using 100% Compostable & Eco-Friendly Packaging Shipping Mailers since 2020, thanks to Hero Packaging. This has ensured that all Wests Tigers merchandise sent from our Roarstore at the Zurich Centre, Concord Oval has a minimal impact on the environment with Roarstore customers able to compost  the bags once they have received their goodies inside.

In more recent times, the Roarstore have ditched the plastic bags for any customers who purchase instore or at game day and now offer a reusable Wests Tigers Woven Bag for the small price of $2.50 that can be used multiple times post-purchase.

Wests Tigers Roarstore understands it's responsibility and will ensure that the above are the first steps in working with suppliers to become more sustainable.
